User settings (account)
The account panel manages your identity and plan. Open it from Account at the bottom of the left sidebar.
Sign in
When you're signed out, features that require an account ask you to sign in. First register on the website, complete email verification, and set an account password. Then use the same email and password in Scribe. Manuscript files remain local; Scribe does not automatically upload or synchronize them.
Account panel
- Avatar, display name, email — your basic profile.
- Current plan — the plan currently available in Scribe, with a Manage entry.
- Quick links: profile, change password, subscription & billing.
- Sign out (with confirmation).
Profile, password and billing actions open the website to finish; the app itself only displays your details and links out. For what each plan includes, see Plans & features.
